In order to provide efficient and evidence-based care, technology must be integrated into nursing practice. I've studied about electronic health records and telehealth technologies, and I see how they can increase communication, expedite procedures, and improve patient outcomes. The expanding relevance of technology in healthcare is obvious, and my dedication includes remaining updated about new technologies and adopting them into my practice (Dorri & Farahani, 2019). In the future, I want to explore further into technology. I want to investigate and implement new technologies that may improve patient care. This involves being current on innovations in healthcare information technology, partaking in appropriate training, and actively pursuing chances to use technology into my everyday practice (Ashouri & Elahi, 2018).
EPSLO 7: Use efficient written communication techniques relevant to the nursing profession. One noteworthy project that considerably enhanced my written communication skills was a research article on the influence of nursing interventions on patient outcomes (Bucks County Community college, 2023). This task honed my critical thinking and presenting skills when it came to complicated healthcare material. Written communication will be an important component of my position in my future profession. Patient recordkeeping, cooperation with the healthcare team, and contact with patients and their families are all part of this. I want to engage in continual professional development, attend writing seminars, and actively seek input from peers and mentors to enhance my written communication abilities (Bucks County Community college, 2023)
